Dear Friends,
Auburn Education Foundation needs your help.
We support innovative education ideas and programs that can inspire and motivate students to achieve the maximum potential. The ideas are initiated by motivated and inspiring teachers in our five public elementary schools, a junior and senior high school. We fund ideas for hands-on projects and experiential activities that are not part of the regular school budget, but can enrich a school, a classroom, and student learning.
Here are just a few examples of our projects going on NOW:
- Phonics instruction through poetry for at-risk students at Genesee Elementary
- An Apple For Harriet books and Meet the Illustrator program. All 2300 elementary students. All 5 Elementary schools.
- Physics Kits for hands-on experiential learning. Auburn High School.

Education budgets are tighter than ever and a teacher using their own money to buy needed materials is a common practice. We can do better. The Auburn Education Foundation makes it possible. Here are our three R’s:

We support educators who have creative ideas that can capture the attention and imagination of their students. Projects traditionally fall within at least one of the following six areas—Academics, Arts, Life Skills, Character Education, Physical Education & Wellness, and Technology—but outside of the regular school district budget.
